Adoption Policies
If you are interested in adoption and have another cat or dog at home we ask that you bring the animal in for introductions on neutral ground.
It is very stressful for humans and pets when things don't work out after the new pet has arrived...
In order for us to be able to adopt an animal to you, we will need to have you bring a valid state issued I.D. and documentation about your residence. If you rent, we must see a lease agreement showing that pets are allowed or a letter from your landlord giving you permission to have a pet on the property.
If you own your home, we must see proof of ownership such as a tax bill, deed, or mortgage coupon.
We take cash, check, and credit cards. Links to the downloadble adoption forms are provided on the top of this article as well as the front page of our website. Please fill out your adoption form completely as all incomplete forms will only delay the process further...
